Criminal Conviction Records

Most criminal convictions can now be sealed in Colorado. There are limited exceptions, such as domestic violence cases, sex offense convictions, and DUI/DWAI convictions. All petty offense convictions can be sealed, and most misdemeanor convictions can be sealed. In addition, many felony convictions can be sealed if the person meets certain criteria, such as no other criminal history since the sentence completed. It may also be necessary that the person commits no crimes in the future, or the case could be unsealed.
