When a case is dismissed, Colorado courts will almost always seal the records. There are limited exceptions such as traffic offenses and traffic misdemeanors, charges against a commercial driver with a CDL license, and some felony sex offense charges. In addition, charges and cases that are dismissed pursuant to a joint resolution with another case may not be eligible to be sealed.
